Our Team
Dr. Jane Shomof, LMFT, PsyD
Founder, CEO
Dr. Jane Shomof is a licensed psychotherapist based in Sherman Oaks, CA. She began her career doing nonprofit work and found her first passion in the field of addiction while working with under-served veterans struggling with addiction and homelessness.
Having worked with both adolescents and adults in treatment settings, Jane has developed successful treatment models in outpatient settings while also providing freelance consulting on the side.
Jane founded Elements Therapy Group in 2012 as an avenue for helping people find themselves again. A traditional private practice, Elements Therapy Group provides modern therapy in the modern world, even offering virtual support in addition to in-person sessions.
Jane also specializes in working with women with peripartum struggles. She is incredibly passionate about this niche and has been blessed to work with such a unique and strong population. Because of this passion, Jane founded Bloome, a postpartum planning and support service for mothers with newborns.
Sasha Matustik, MA, AMFT
Associate Therapist
As life moves through its ever-changing phases, we all need relationships that offer support and gentle guidance. Sasha says, “Transitions and major life events often leave us at a crossroads, trying to reconcile the past while navigating the present and future. When we can examine our stories with compassion, we open the door to moving forward with greater clarity and purpose.” As a brain-focused therapist, Sasha combines expertise with empathy to help individuals and families navigate life’s seasons in a way that feels true to them, with the ultimate goal of fostering lasting mental well-being.
Sasha’s passion lies in helping individuals uncover the unconscious beliefs and patterns that shape their lives. Through thoughtful reflection on the stories they carry, she guides clients in breaking free from limiting narratives, empowering them to move forward with authenticity, self-awareness, and compassion.
We thrive through connection, not isolation. Sasha loves to incorporate art, culture, and mindfulness into the therapeutic process, while honoring each client’s unique insights and goals to create a meaningful path toward growth.
